Biography for Inayan Masirib Guro Joe Walls
Three Rivers Eskrima Concepts Founder and Chief Instructor
In 1997 Joe Walls was introduced to Inayan Eskrima thru
a past Instructor of Jun Fan/JKD who was in
Mangisursuro Michael G. Inay's ITO program. After
this introduction Mr. Walls’ life would never be the same;
this was the day his journey in Inayan Eskrima began.
In addition to Jun Fan/JKD Concepts he has a background
in western boxing, submission grappling and MMA. He has competed in, and trained competitors
in boxing, grappling and MMA in the past.
Since the passing of Mangisursuro Inay in 2000,
he has dedicated himself to the preservation and perpetuationof Inayan Eskrima,
following the teachings of the IBE (The Inayan Brotherhood of Eskrima, a core group of
Senior Inayan Guros, each of whom helped form the Inner Circle under Mangisursuro Michael G. Inay).
He was trained and ranked in the art by
Inayan Masirib Guro Cory Hanoshof Inayan Systems International,
who was trained and ranked directly from Mangisursuro Mike Inay, the founder of Inayan Eskrima.On September 15th,2012 Masirib Hanosh accepted & assumed the title of Tagapayo
as bestowed upon him by the Guros and students of Inayan Systems International

Each of these men has had a major impact on Mr. Walls’ development, appreciation & understanding of Inayan Eskrima.
He continues to maintain personal relationships with them all.
Mr. Walls received the rank of Kadua Guro on
February 1st, 2006. He was promoted to
Inayan Katalungan Guro on November 10th, 2007.
From 2005 until 2008, Mr. Walls was responsible for the day
to day operations and instruction of classes at the
Pittsburgh location of the Inayan School of Eskrima
under Tagaturo Steve Klement.
On June 1, 2008 Mr. Walls fulfilled his dream and began teaching the art of Inayan Eskrima
at his own school as the founder and chief instructor of Three Rivers Eskrima Concepts.
On May 2, 2009 Mr. Walls was promoted to Full Inayan Guro by Tagapayo Cory Hanosh. On September 15, 2012 he was promoted to Inayan Lahong Guro by Tagapayo Hanosh.
To this day Joe Walls continues to grow and learn in the art of Inayan Eskrima as a direct student of Tagapayo Hanosh and also from his seniors and students as well as from the art itself.
